Top Fire Rating For Sedum Blanket on a Sloped Roof

Independent fire testing was carried out on a sloped Bauder XeroFlor sedum blanket green roof system at the BRE. The system was tested in accordance with BS 476 Part 3 1958.
 
Although the system has already been tested in a flat roof configuration, many sedum roof specifications are required on projects with a roof slope over 10° so it is important to confirm its fire performance in this orientation.

 
Like the flat roof version, the sloped roof also achieved the best achievable designation, with no fire penetration or spread of flame.
