Blazing Paddles

'Bauder's Blazing Paddles' took to Alton Water, Suffolk on 18th July as part of a Dragon Boat racing event to raise money for St Elizabeth Hospice, Ipswich.  The team of one drummer and ten novice paddlers nervously hunkered down in the very long and narrow canoe-style human powered boat adorned as a Chinese dragon for their first race; and much to their adrenaline-filled amazement, won their first heat, whilst coming a very respectable third overall amongst 21 teams.
