Trusted procurement route for public funded
flat roofing projects
Bauder has been appointed to design, supply and install flat roofing systems for public funded building projects by the LHC. The LHC is a leading, non-for-profit, public sector purchasing consortium that provides best value procurement solutions for the refurbishment and maintenance of local authorities, schools, social housing and other public sector buildings across England, Wales, and Scotland. The LHC has over 50 years of technical experience and expertise in this field.
The LHC and its regional partners provide Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) compliant frameworks to ensure an efficient procurement route. The Roofing Systems and Associated Works (RS4) framework allows local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies to source specialist suppliers for the design, supply and installation of traditional flat roofing and associate works for new build and refurbishment projects. The framework is suitable for all types of new build and refurbishment projects including multi occupancy residential buildings, schools, colleges, universities, NHS buildings and other public buildings.
The collaboration that Bauder has with the LHC involves a local area technical manager from Bauder to determine the most appropriate flat roofing system for the project. They will liaise with the LHC regional partner to advise on the most suitable procurement route to fulfil the public sector building’s project requirements.
