Bauder donates waterproofing membrane to charity FIND

Bauder has donated 400m² of Thermofol single ply waterproofing membrane to Barnes Construction who are working with the charity FIND to construct a new building to help deal with the increase in demand of people living in poverty.

The refurbishment project was originally a sports changing room for Gainsborough Sports Centre but has been completely renovated in order to meet the needs of the charity.
Since 1990 FIND, located in Ipswich, have been offering help and support to people in and around the Ipswich area who are struggling with poverty. Volunteers work to provide food parcels, furniture and household items, footwear, clothing coats, sleeping bags, payment for prescriptions and travel, and in some circumstances emergency accommodation for those sleeping rough.

Damien of Barnes Construction comments: “We and the FIND charity would like to thank Bauder for their very generous offer for the supply of materials on this project, this contribution allowed the project to go forward within the available budget. The system itself was quick and easy to install, providing us with a watertight building which allowed the internal finishing trades to progress as required."

Construction began in the Spring of this year and is planned to be completed this Autumn, we look forward to seeing the finished result!
