Bauder fills over 100 wash bags for CRASH's Christmas wash bag appeal

Christmas can be an incredibly difficult time for those who are homeless, which is why we took part in CRASH's Christmas wash bag appeal late last year once again.

Bauder filled over 100 wash bags with a variety of toiletries including toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, mouthwash, scarves, razors, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, socks, and sanitary items which will then be donated to a range of local homeless charities. Thank you to everyone who donated, and a special thanks to Savers in Ipswich who again were a phenomenal help.

CRASH is a unique, practical charity that assists homelessness and hospice charities with construction related projects, creating places that care for people. They support charities with practical elements of their building projectd, and they believe this can hugely improve the experience of the construction process for the charities they help, creating better places for people to live and work.

Becky Holt, Marketing and Communications Manager at CRASH Charity said:

‘‘Whilst we may take cleaning our teeth or having a shower for granted, many homeless people have limited access to this basic human need and dignity. To a person who has nothing, receiving a wash bag as a gift has made a huge difference to their Christmas. Thank you to all the companies involved for your generosity.’’
