Bauder Launches blue roof SuDS BauderBLUE Ecobuild 

Bauder flat roofing attended Ecobuild last week, for the 15th year running! The show was once again a great success with a record number of visitors to the stand. The open layout encouraged delegates to view the build ups which displayed green roof, solar PV and waterproofing systems.  The star of the show though was BauderBLUE, Bauder’s newest flat roofing solution. The blue roof system was launched on the morning of day one with an impressive crowd of over 50 guests who enjoyed brunch refreshments, goodie bags and the first look at the revolutionary water management system. Bauder product and technical specialists were joined on stage by industry experts, Malcolm Wearing of CRM Rainwater Drainage and Gary Walpole from the NFRC who gave an overview of the recent development in SuDS legislation and an insight into blue roof industry guidelines. The launch generated much interest in the blue roof concept and footfall did not decrease for the rest of the day.
Despite being open to the public and free to attend, Ecobuild attracts a focused audience that are looking to have valuable conversations with exhibitors. A large proportion of individuals approached with specifications and drawings, ready to engage fully in their project. This was facilitated by having product and project managers manning the stand along with technicians who also specialise in specific areas and can therefore discuss client needs in full detail.
