Bauder achieves ISO 45001:2018 Certification
We are proud to share that Bauder has recently gained the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management System UKAS certification.
Assessing risks and preventing harm to employees, contractors and the public is a legal requirement for businesses. ISO 45001 is an internationally developed standard that improves an organisation’s ability to meet health and safety regulations, resulting in reduced employee absenteeism, lower insurance premiums and less downtime. The standard provides protection for Bauder Ltd, our employees and our partners. It’s the best way of managing risk, avoiding fines and reducing employee absence, which contributes to enhancing business performance.
Created to help organisations such as Bauder Ltd improve workplace safety and reduce employee injuries, ISO 45001 details how companies can build an effective OH&S management system for assessing risk and monitoring workplace activities. Given how passionate we are about our employees, it helps us proactively prevent ill-health and harm and integrates with employee wellbeing and wellness initiatives.
ISO 45001 supports the development of health and safety policies and objectives, determines hazards and health risks, and puts in place controls and procedures to reduce the risk of harm. By fostering an active employee health and safety culture, we can develop as an organisation, leading to a safer workplace and less disruption to operations due to staff illness or health-related absence.
Based on the Annex SL framework, this certification shares a common structure and many elements with the other major standards, which has enabled us to integrate seamlessly with our UKAS certified ISO management systems including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. This demonstrates our commitment to our clients, contractors, and employees in regard to health, safety and wellbeing.
