When to specify...

Seeding an extensive green roof can be an economical and practical method of greening very large areas. The Bauder Flora Seed Mixes are specifically designed for sowing at roof level they contain tackifier and fertiliser with the seed to stick the seed to the substrate so that it is not blown off or washed off the roof. This ensures the highest germination rates. To meet particular planting requirements on Biodiverse roofs seeding is often combined with plug planting to get an exact species mix.
